Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Field Service Engineer for a leading semiconductor wet processing equipment company in Meridian, Idaho. The role is 75% field-based with domestic and international travel, supporting customer sites and technical projects.

You will analyze complex failures, interpret P&IDs and schematics, apply engineering knowledge to develop solutions, lead startup and qualification of automated wet bench systems, and serve as a technical consultant to customers.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years in semiconductor equipment/automation or equivalent.
Experience troubleshooting semiconductor processing equipment and automated systems, including PLC-based controls.
Ability to read and apply engineering documentation (P&IDs, schematics, drawings).
Hands-on capability for point-to-point wiring, soldering, and leak-tight plumbing connections.
Knowledge of field documentation practices and clear customer communication with factory teams.

Responsibilities

75% field-based role with domestic and international travel to support customers.
Analyze complex system failures using diagnostic techniques to restore equipment performance.
Interpret technical specs and drawings to diagnose non-routine issues accurately.
Develop innovative solutions for equipment modifications and process improvements.
Lead startup, commissioning, and qualification of automated wet bench systems per SEMI standards.
Act as primary technical consultant, documenting outcomes and engineering changes with customers.
