ManpowerGroup has a client in the semiconductor sector seeking a Field Service Engineer in Meridian, Idaho. The role is 75% field-based with travel, focusing on diagnosing complex failures, interpreting schematics and P&IDs, and implementing modifications to improve equipment performance.

Competenze

• Associate degree or Bachelor’s in Engineering/Technical field; or equivalent combination with 5+ years of semiconductor equipment/automation experience.
• Experience troubleshooting semiconductor processing equipment and automated systems, including PLC-based controls (ladder logic and control algorithms).
• Ability to read and apply engineering docs (P&IDs, electrical schematics, drawings) to diagnose and fix issues.
• Hands-on wiring, soldering, and assembly of electrical wiring for leak-tight connections and proper labeling.
• Knowledge of safe tool operation and field documentation practices, and clear communication with customers and factory personnel.
