Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Engineering, or related field plus 5+ years of experience; or Master’s with 3+ years; or equivalent experience.
• Experience with installation, maintenance, repair, or troubleshooting of semiconductor capital equipment.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics and operation manuals.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site repair, maintenance service, and start-up services for Lam’s equipment at customer sites.
• Perform diagnostics, troubleshoot, and isolate issues to component level to minimize downtime.
• Keep up-to-date on semiconductor capital equipment and Lam products through training and certification.
• Assist in field modifications and updates, maintaining records and coordinating with customers.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and deliver exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Troubleshoot and prepare action plans to support customer needs.
• Discuss opportunities and challenges with customers to build trust.
• Provide technical instruction and mentoring for junior engineers.
