Job summary

Exyte is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, commission, qualify, troubleshoot, and provide technical support for chemical and gas delivery equipment at customer sites. The role requires domestic and international travel to ensure equipment performance and operational excellence, collaborating with Engineering, Sales, and Technology teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in installation, maintenance, repair, or troubleshooting of semiconductor capital equipment.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics and operation manuals.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site repair, maintenance service, and complete installation/start-up services of Exentec’s chemical and gas delivery systems at customer sites.
• Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and equipment malfunctions.
• Keep up to date on semiconductor market and Exentec products through training and certification.
• Coordinate field activities and maintain records between Exentec and the customer.
• Serve as a subject matter expert representing Exentec to customers and ensuring satisfaction.
• Troubleshoot and develop action plans to support customer needs.
• Discuss opportunities and challenges with customers to maintain trust.
• Provide technical instruction and mentoring for junior engineers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
