Job summary

Exyte is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, start up, commission, and service chemical and gas delivery equipment at customer sites globally. This role requires extensive travel and collaboration with customers, engineering, operations, and service teams to ensure performance, safety, and quality.

You will document work, update status with the Service Manager, and support continuous improvement in procedures while maintaining a strong safety culture and professional work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to travel up to 80% domestically and internationally.
• Reading and following technical drawings, schematics, manuals, and work instructions.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, start up, and qualify chemical and gas delivery systems at customer sites.
• Follow startup, testing, and commissioning procedures to ensure equipment operates per specifications.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and system performance issues and implement corrective actions.
• Document equipment modifications and service activities; provide project updates to the Service Manager.
• Maintain safety, quality, and customer satisfaction; update training materials as needed.
