Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group is seeking a Field Service Engineer to perform on-site service and repair of automated semiconductor equipment in Hillsboro, OR. You will diagnose issues, maintain documentation, and coordinate with customers to minimize downtime.

Ideal candidates have electronics/engineering education, repair or troubleshooting experience, and possibly semiconductor exposure. Travel up to 0-100% with incentives may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in electronics or engineering preferred.
• Professional electrical/mechanical repair or troubleshooting experience.
• Prior semiconductor industry experience is valuable.

Responsibilities

• On-site service and repair of automated semiconductor equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems.
• Maintain records and reports as required; coordinate with peers, supervisor, and customers to minimize downtime.
• Order and install new parts; train customer technicians on operation and maintenance.
• Perform upgrades and modifications as needed; stay current with training and manuals.
