Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is seeking a Field Service Engineer to perform on-site service and repair of automated semiconductor manufacturing equipment. You will diagnose equipment issues, maintain records, and coordinate with customers and peers to minimize downtime.

You will install parts, train customer technicians, and perform upgrades or modifications as needed. The role requires strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree OR Associates Degree in electronics, engineering, or other applicable field of study preferred
• High School Degree or GED minimum requirement
• Professional Electrical / Mechanical repair or troubleshooting experience
• Military experience is considered in place of educational requirements
• Prior semiconductor industry experience is valuable for this team
• Pluses: Prior experience in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of automated equipment
• Military Backgrounds
• Previous Field Service Engineering experience
• Excellent customer interface skills is required
• Mechanical aptitude is required as well as an ability to use appropriate tools
• Thorough understanding of technical issues involving the maintenance, repair and/or installation of company equipment and company procedures are required

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site service and repair of automated semiconductor manufacturing equipment
• Troubleshoots and diagnose equipment problems
• Maintains records and reports as required
• Coordinates activities with peers, supervisor(s) and customers to minimize equipment downtime and interruptions
• Orders and installs new parts
• Instructs customer operating technicians on system operation and maintenance
• Performs upgrades and modifications to equipment as needed
• Remain current on equipment/tools through training and manuals
