Job summary

Beacon Hill is seeking an on-site service professional to maintain and repair automated semiconductor manufacturing equipment in Boise, ID. You will troubleshoot, service, and upgrade systems, while coordinating with customers and peers to minimize downtime.

Ideal candidates have a technical degree and hands-on repair experience, with a strong focus on customer interface skills and safety protocols. Military experience is considered, and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Associates in electronics or engineering preferred.
• High School or GED minimum requirement.
• Military experience can substitute educational requirements.
• Prior semiconductor industry experience is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site service and repair of automated semiconductor equipment.
• Troubleshoots and diagnose equipment problems.
• Maintains records and reports as required.
• Coordinates activities with peers, supervisors, and customers to minimize downtime.
• Orders and installs new parts.
• Instructs customer operating technicians on system operation and maintenance.
• Performs upgrades and modifications to equipment as needed.
• Keeps current on equipment/tools through training and manuals.
