The Opportunity

• This is a remote position.
• Applicants must reside in the San Diego, CA area.
• Travel up to 25% required.

Provide technical support including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, while partnering with sales, marketing, and other teams within compliance guidelines.

What You’ll Work On

• Represent Abbott Diagnostic Division to customers.
• Provide on-site support to ADD customers.
• Support field personnel and meet business goals.
• Mentor other Field Service Representatives (FSRs).
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues on complex instruments following business processes.
• Document complaint resolutions accurately and timely, adhering to quality systems.
• Follow regulatory and safety guidelines.
• Perform routine maintenance and installations.

Team Integration

• Work effectively within a diverse team.
• Support on-call and after-hours duties.
• Manage time, territory, and inventory efficiently.
• Travel for support and training as needed.
• Provide critical account support on-site.

Maintain ownership of customer issues until resolution and communicate effectively across teams.

Additional Requirements

• Technical competency and proactive account management.
• Complete instrument training across regions.
• Implement and maintain quality systems.
• Deliver excellent customer service and resolve high-stress situations.
• Document support activities and partner cross-functionally.
• Achieve business metrics including service sales and performance indicators.
