Job summary
Symbotic is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support its micro-fulfillment and material handling systems in live customer environments. This hands-on, customer-facing role requires strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting across robotic, conveyor and automation platforms.
You will monitor performance, lead root-cause investigations and provide advanced troubleshooting while partnering with internal teams to maximize uptime.
Qualifications
- Hands-on troubleshooting of PLCs, HMIs, conveyors and robotics.
- Experience supporting live operational environments with uptime impact.
- Strong preventive maintenance and maintenance documentation practices.
Responsibilities
- Monitor system performance, alarms and reliability trends at client sites.
- Lead root cause investigations using structured methods.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting for PLCs, robotics, conveyors and controls.
- Collaborate across Hardware, Software and Operations teams for improvements.
- Communicate during major events and document findings for continuous improvement.
- Mentor technicians and assist with launches, upgrades and safety compliance.
