Job summary

Symbotic LLC is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support micro-fulfillment systems in live customer environments. You will troubleshoot electro-mechanical equipment, PLCs, robotics, and conveyors, while maintaining safety standards and documentation.

This hands-on role requires strong problem-solving and customer-facing skills, with travel to client sites and company HQ. A technical degree or equivalent experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Experience troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs, conveyors and robotic systems.
• Proactive problem-solver with strong customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor system performance, alarms, and reliability trends at assigned locations.
• Lead structured root cause investigations and provide advanced troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with Hardware/Software/Systems Engineering to implement fixes.
• Support customer communications during significant events and document actions.
• Mentor technicians and assist with site launches and upgrades.
