Brooks Automation is seeking a Field Service Engineer in the Northeast US, with base in Chelmsford, MA. The role involves installation, repair, and maintenance of precision automation equipment for semiconductor manufacturing, with emphasis on safety and customer satisfaction.

Travel domestically and internationally, flexible schedules, and potential on-call duties are included. The successful candidate will mentor peers, lead diagnostic efforts, and drive continuous improvement across sites.

Formación

• Associate's Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of electro-mechanical/electronics service experience.
• Experience with lasers and sensing devices on robotic units.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
• Proficiency with PCs and Windows/DOS OS.

Responsabilidades

• Install, modify, repair, test, and maintain equipment software and hardware following policies.
• Interface with customers to ensure satisfaction and participate in operational meetings.
• Maintain safe work environment per Brooks and customer protocols.
• Submit service reports and status reports as defined by management.
• Adapt to changing priorities and support administrative duties.
• Train Brooks and customer personnel in operation and maintenance.
• Mentor less experienced engineers.
• Drive continuous improvement projects for customers and Brooks.
• Create reports, project plans, and documentation; present to customer or management.
• May work in a clean room environment in suit per customer requirements.
• Flex schedule including compressed weeks, night shifts, weekends, on-call.
