Job summary

Brooks Automation is seeking an Electrical Engineer in Massachusetts to contribute to the development of robot and automation system controls. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to design PCB controllers, analyze field challenges, and develop engineering design specifications.

Responsibilities include documentation, cross-functional issue resolution, and presenting technical results. The role requires collaboration with mechanical and software engineers and offers hybrid work options

Qualifications

• BSEE with 3+ years of experience, or MSEE with 1+ years of experience.
• Ability to work with electrical, mechanical, embedded controls and software teams.
• Occasional travel, <5%.

Responsibilities

• Develop robot and automation system controls solutions with a team.
• Analyze complex field and manufacturing challenges; cross-functional issue resolution.
• Collaborate on PCB designs for system and robot controllers and write engineering design specs.
• Document processes and maintain engineering design standards; present findings.
