Job summary

Brooks Automation is seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer based in the Phoenix, AZ metro area to install, service, and repair Brooks automation equipment for semiconductor customers. You will work with customers, ensure safety, and meet service targets.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in electro-mechanical/electronics support, experience with lasers and sensing devices, and ability to travel domestically and internationally; flexibility for on-call, compressed weeks, and possible

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of electro-mechanical/electronics technical support/repair experience.
• Experience with lasers and sensing devices for positioning circuitry on robotic units.
• Proficiency with PCs, Windows, and DOS based operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead/install/modify/repair/upgrade equipment and systems per Brooks policies.
• Interface with customers to ensure satisfaction and participate in customer meetings.
• Maintain safe work environment and complete required reports and certifications.
• Train Brooks and customer personnel in equipment operation and maintenance.
