Job summary

Brooks Automation is seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer to support the Phoenix, AZ area. You will install, repair, and maintain Brooks equipment, collaborating with customers to ensure uptime and system performance.

The role requires electro-mechanical expertise, travel, and the ability to work in clean room environments; you will participate in on-site service, training, and documentation. This position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in a technical discipline, technical Certificate or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience providing electro-mechanical / electronics technical support / repair service.
• Experience with lasers and sensing devices for positioning circuitry on robotic units.
• Experience troubleshooting microelectronics schematics and digital circuits.
• Proficiency with PCs, Windows, and DOS based Operating Systems.
• Valid driver7s license, good driving record, reliable transportation, ability to obtain a passport.

Responsibilities

• Lead/perform installation, modification, repair and maintenance of Brooks equipment and systems.
• Interface with customers to ensure satisfaction and participate in customer meetings.
• Maintain a safe working environment and prepare status reports.
• Train personnel and mentor junior engineers; support continuous improvement projects.
• Create reports, project plans, and documentation; may require on-call work.
