Job summary

FALCATA is seeking a Field Service Engineer (FSE) for the Product Solutions division, based in Huntsville, AL; Aurora, CO; Arlington, VA; or Bedminster, NJ. The role supports integration, testing, validation, and field deployment of FALCATA subsystems onto larger customer platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Software, or related field).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in systems integration, testing, or engineering roles.
• Hands‑on experience integrating subsystems (RF‑based) onto larger platforms across mechanical, electrical, software, and firmware interfaces.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills in field environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 40%.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently in dynamic environments.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET DoD Clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply FALCATA product hardware and software operations, including theory of operation and troubleshooting methods.
• Serve as a Field Service Engineer supporting integration and testing of subsystems on larger customer platforms for field testing and demonstrations.
• Provide hands‑on technical support across mechanical, electrical, software, and firmware interfaces.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve integration issues in real time with internal and external partners.
• Develop, execute, and refine integration test plans and documentation.
• Evaluate data during integration events to assess product performance.
• Communicate needs, feedback, and capability gaps to product engineering teams.
• Ensure activities are completed on schedule per program requirements and customer expectations.
• Travel up to 40%, including extended durations at various sites.
