Job summary

FALCATA is seeking a Field Service Engineer (FSE) for the Product Solutions division with assignments in Huntsville, AL; Aurora, CO; Arlington, VA; or Bedminster, NJ. The role blends systems engineering, testing, and hands-on troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, software, and firmware interfaces.

The FSE will collaborate with customers, partners, and internal teams to resolve integration issues, evaluate system performance, and drive product improvements during field or lab activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in systems integration, testing, or engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience integrating RF-based subsystems onto larger platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in field environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% as required by activities.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET DoD Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply FALCATA product hardware and software operations, including troubleshooting methods.
• Support integration and testing of subsystems for field testing and demonstrations at various sites.
• Provide hands-on technical support across mechanical, electrical, software, and firmware interfaces.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in real time with internal and external teams.
• Develop and refine integration test plans, procedures, and documentation.
• Evaluate customer data to assess product performance and provide feedback to engineering.
• Document anomalies, configurations, and reproduction steps for factory troubleshooting.
• Communicate customer needs and risks to engineering teams for product refinement.
• Ensure activities are completed on schedule per program requirements.
