As the Field Service Engineer, you will have the opportunity to join a driven and growing team. The ideal candidate must be located on the Southern East Coast near a major airport.

What you will accomplish together with us:

1. Provide exceptional customer care and build positive relationships with customers.
2. Provide technical support to customers in the event of an issue.
3. Coordinate workflow with the schedule to minimize unnecessary travel. Travel to customers by ground, train, and air transportation as needed.
4. Provide training to customers on the essential use and operation of Bio Analytics instruments.
5. Perform field service, calibration, and installation of complex mechanical systems, and perform preventative maintenance and field sterilizations.
6. Assist with resolving IT issues related to Bio Analytics system installations. Follow all company procedures and perform software updates/upgrades.
7. Draft documentation of processes and procedures as required.
8. Maintain accurate records via written and paper forms, and keep a precise count of parts assigned to the engineer.
9. Produce timely, accurate, and detailed service reports and prepare customer-facing estimates of repairs.
10. Pass along identified leads to the sales manager.
11. Travel to our facilities and sites in Ann Arbor, MI, Fremont, CA, and others for training and conferences as needed.
12. Support up to 90% overnight travel in the greater eastern region of NA, with support in additional areas of NA.
13. Lift items weighing up to 35 Kg.

What Will Convince Us:

1. Associate's degree in engineering, military training certifications, or 5+ years of proven field service experience.
2. 3+ years of field service experience in the Bio-Pharmaceutical industry.
3. Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment with excellent mechanical, electrical, and IT skills.
4. Valid Driver's License.
5. Proficient with MS Office software, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
