Note: The ideal candidate must be located on the Southern East Coast near a major airport.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide exceptional customer care and build positive relationships with customers.
  2. Provide technical support to customers during issues.
  3. Coordinate workflow with schedules to minimize travel; travel by ground, train, and air as needed.
  4. Train customers on the use and operation of Bio Analytics instruments.
  5. Perform field service, calibration, installation, preventative maintenance, and sterilizations of complex mechanical systems.
  6. Assist with resolving IT issues related to Bio Analytics systems; follow procedures and perform software updates/upgrades.
  7. Draft documentation of processes and procedures.
  8. Keep accurate records of parts and service reports; produce customer estimates.
  9. Pass leads to the sales manager.
  10. Travel to facilities in Ann Arbor, MI, Fremont, CA, and others for training and conferences.
  11. Support up to 90% overnight travel within the eastern NA region and beyond.
  12. Lift items weighing up to 35 Kg.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in engineering, military training, or 5+ years of field experience.
  • 3+ years of field service experience in the Bio-Pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong troubleshooting, testing, repair, and servicing skills in mechanical, electrical, and IT domains.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Preferred Attributes:
  • Flexible shifts and adaptability to schedule changes.
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, biomechanical, biomedical engineering, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with mobile tools and applications.
  • Excellent driving record.
