Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer care and build positive relationships with customers.
- Provide technical support to customers in case of issues.
- Coordinate workflow with schedules to minimize unnecessary travel. Travel to customers by ground, train, and air as needed.
- Train customers on the use and operation of Bio Analytics instruments.
- Perform field service, calibration, installation of complex mechanical systems, and preventative maintenance, including sterilizations.
- Assist with resolving IT issues related to Bio Analytics system installations, follow company procedures, and perform software updates/upgrades.
- Draft documentation of processes and procedures as required.
- Maintain accurate records of parts and service activities.
- Produce timely, accurate, and detailed service reports and customer estimates.
- Identify and pass along leads to the sales team.
- Travel to facilities for training and conferences as needed.
- Support activities across NA, with up to 90% overnight travel in the eastern region.
- Lift items weighing up to 35 kg.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in engineering, military training, or equivalent, or 5+ years of field service experience.
- 3+ years of experience in the Bio-Pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong troubleshooting, testing, repairing, and servicing skills in mechanical, electrical, and IT domains.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
