Job description

Sartorius is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join the team serving the Mountain and Mid-West regions. The Mountain region includes Colorado, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Montana, and Idaho. The Mid-west region includes Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Nebraska. What you will accomplish together with us:

1. Provide exceptional customer care and build positive relationships with customers.
2. Provide technical support to customers in case of issues.
3. Coordinate workflow to minimize unnecessary travel and visit customers by ground, train, and air as needed.
4. Train customers on the use and operation of Bio Analytics instruments.
5. Perform field service, calibration, installation of complex mechanical systems, and preventative maintenance, including sterilizations.
6. Assist with resolving IT issues related to Bio Analytics system installations, and perform software updates/upgrades.
7. Draft documentation of processes and procedures as required.
8. Maintain accurate records of parts and service activities.
9. Produce timely, accurate, and detailed service reports and customer estimates.
10. Identify and pass along leads to the sales manager.
11. Lift items weighing up to 35 Kg regularly.
12. Perform up to 50-75% overnight travel to support field service activities.
13. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

What will convince us:

1. Associate's degree or certifications in engineering, or at least 5 years of relevant field service experience.
2. Minimum of 3 years of field service experience in the Bio-Pharmaceutical industry.
3. Ability to travel to customer sites across specified states.
4. Strong troubleshooting, testing, repairing, and servicing skills in mechanical, electrical, and IT domains.
5. Valid Driver's License.
6. Ability to lift items up to 35 Kg.

Base salary ranges from $75,000 to $100,000 depending on experience, plus bonus and car allowance.
