Job summary

Russelectric, a Siemens business, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support critical power facilities from the Orlando, FL area. You will perform automatic transfer switch startups, modifications, warranty work, and emergency calls, with up to 80% travel and a strong emphasis on safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualified candidates have 3+ years in field service engineering for power facilities, solid experience with switchgear, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of field service engineering experience.
• Experience with electrical power including switchgear from low to medium voltage.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints for power control.
• Familiarity with codes and industry standards.
• Excellent client communication and on-time project delivery.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support automatic transfer switch startups, modifications, warranty, and emergency calls.
• Provide technical field startup support for standard and non-standard systems.
• Travel up to 80% to client sites.
• Supervise safety policies and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Communicate with clients in a customer-focused manner and manage any additional work or charges.
