Job summary

Russelectric, a Siemens business, designs and builds custom power control systems for critical facilities such as data centers, telecoms and healthcare. Based in Ohio, this role focuses on automatic transfer switch startups, warranty work, and rapid field response with up to 80% travel.

We seek hands-on technicians ready to learn and advance toward Field Service Engineer. The position will support startups, maintenance contracts, and on-call emergency support for 3 Ohio-region sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• 3+ years in Field Service Engineering or related roles.
• Experience with electrical power and switchgear in critical facilities.
• Experience testing automatic transfer switches and reading schematics/blueprints.
• Familiarity with applicable codes and industry standards.
• Strong project management, organization and customer satisfaction focus.
• Must be self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform automatic transfer switch startups, warranty work, and preventive maintenance.
• Provide technical support for field startups and emergency calls.
• Travel up to 80% (Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati area).
• Ensure safety policies and regulatory compliance on all jobs.
• Communicate with clients in a highly customer-service oriented manner.
