Job summary

Russelectric, a Siemens business, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support critical power facilities in the Orlando, FL area. This position will involve startups of automatic transfer switches, warranty work, and preventative maintenance on-site to ensure reliability.

You will be hands-on, service-oriented, and focused on customer satisfaction while adhering to safety policies and industry standards. Willingness to travel up to 80% is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in field service engineering for power facilities.
• Experience with low to medium voltage switchgear in critical facilities (data centers, airports).
• Experience with automatic transfer switch testing.
• Ability to read schematics and power/control diagrams.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• On-call 24/7 with a company cell phone.
• Focus on automatic transfer switches in field service.
• Provide technical support for field startups, warranty work, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• Supervise safety policies and ensure compliance with laws and guidelines.
• Communicate with clients professionally and negotiate additional charges when needed.
• Ensure on-time project completion within budget and scope.
• Travel up to 80% to client sites.
