Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Field Engineer to join our team at the Cranberry Township, PA headquarters. You will be part of a group of customer support engineers analyzing and solving engineering problems related to installation, start-up, and operation of distributed control systems and equipment at customer locations.

Responsibilities include on-site instruction, directing installation activities, providing engineering advisory support, and producing timely reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or a similar technical curriculum.
• 0-2 years of related experience.
• Be able to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• On-site instruction of customer personnel and modification/repair of control systems.
• Direct efforts of customer personnel during installation of control systems and equipment.
• Provide engineering advisory assistance to the customer and internal teams.
• Create complete and timely reports detailing problems encountered and services performed.
