Job summary

Emerson’s Power & Water Solutions is seeking an Early Career Field Service Engineer to work from Cranberry Township, PA or one of several regional offices (Tinley Park, IL; Charlotte, NC; Warren, NJ; Houston, TX; Riverside, CA). You will support installation, commissioning, and maintenance of automation systems at customer sites, with significant travel and hands-on field exposure.

Responsibilities

Support the installation, startup, commissioning, and maintenance of advanced automation and control systems at customer sites.
Work directly with customers to troubleshoot technical challenges and deliver effective solutions.
Learn industry-leading technologies through hands-on field experience and mentorship from experienced engineers.
Assist with system testing, quality assurance activities, and performance evaluations.
Provide on-site and remote support during project implementation and system upgrades.
Participate in customer training sessions and FATs.
Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and customers to ensure successful project execution.
Develop strong technical, problem-solving, and customer relationship skills through real-world experience.
Contribute to the improvement of operational procedures, field documentation, and best practices.
Build a deep understanding of critical infrastructure systems that support power generation and water treatment operations.
