Job summary

Faith Technologies is seeking a Field Service Engineer to perform onsite product start-up, maintenance and troubleshooting. You will create and manage project plans for site preparation, coordinate with customer IT teams on networking, and deliver software updates and commissioning support.

The role requires electrical start-up experience, 50% travel, and flexibility to work varied hours. Strong communication with clients and cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical degree preferred in electrical/computer fields.
• Electrical start-up and testing experience required (8,000 hours apprenticeship preferred).

Responsibilities

• Contributes to Field Services small projects coordination and execution on customer site.
• Provides support to Level 2-4 FSRs and client personnel as it pertains to testing of electrical equipment.
• Interprets blueprints and other service documents, including specifications, reporting and quality requirements.
• Documents all required information for each site including test reports and service summaries to customers.
• Responsible for creating documentation and electronic reference material to support the Field Service Representatives.
• Performs site assessment as well as install, commission, maintain, and troubleshoot various equipment (Eaton, ABB, Schneider, etc.).
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Communicate with Project Coordinator to ensure smooth execution of schedule.
• Experience with BMS (Building Management System), PMS (Power Monitoring System), knowledge of industrial automation systems, data center equipment, CAD software.
• Ability to build rapport with clients and address concerns in a timely manner.
• Assists in the development of design modifications and software updates.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
