Job summary

Alter Domus in Chicago is looking for a Field Service Engineer to provide on-site support. You will configure and deliver end-user devices, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and manage inventory.

The ideal candidate will have a background in IT support, familiarity with Microsoft tools, and strong communication skills. This role may require flexibility with hours and responsibilities will include maintaining asset records and conducting user training.

Salary range is $42,500 to $75,000 annually, with additional benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Basic working knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365.
• Familiarity with device provisioning concepts like Microsoft Intune.
• Experience using a ticketing tool such as ServiceNow or Jira.
• Strong communication skills with a customer-first approach.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, configure and deliver laptops and workplace equipment.
• Provide on-site hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Manage loan devices and maintain stockroom accuracy.
• Conduct user acceptance testing and maintain asset records.
