Job summary

AMETEK Process Instruments is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support Process Instruments products through field repairs, customer training, and technical assistance. The role involves troubleshooting electronics, handling tools and materials, and ensuring customer satisfaction while adhering to safety standards.

Essential duties include on-site installations, service support, and documenting work performed.

Qualifications

• AS degree in electronics or equivalent military training or prior relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 3–5 years’ experience with analyzers in Oil & Gas or refinery environments.

Responsibilities

• On-site installation, service support, and troubleshooting for Process Instruments products.
• Document work performed in service reports and billing/warranty documents.
• Provide online and on-site training at customer facilities.
• Collaborate with Sales to maximize market penetration in the region.
• Occasional design improvements and fault isolation to component level.
