Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide technical direction and on-site service for company products. You will install, operate, maintain, repair, and upgrade equipment and train customer personnel, while coordinating with sales, QA/QC, and R&D to address issues.

Responsibilities include responding to service requests, performing preventive maintenance, analyzing failures, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year working in a similar field-based repair position.
• Computer skills: Windows OS and MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Access).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain credit approval for a corporate card.
• Good verbal and written communication skills and independent thinking.
• Detail oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and work up to 8 hours/day with travel as needed.
• Must meet site credentialing and health-safety requirements and English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Install, check out, operate, maintain, repair, and upgrade equipment within service timeframes.
• Provide preventive maintenance per published procedures and keep records.
• Train customer personnel on operation, maintenance, inspection procedures and techniques.
• Analyze equipment failures to determine cause and corrective action.
• Advise on design changes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Manage assets: company vehicle, parts inventory, test equipment and tools.
• Maintain professional appearance and effective communication with customers and management.
