Job summary

Bruker Optics GmbH & Co. KG in Nürnberg area is seeking a Field-Service Engineer (m/w/d) to provide national on-site service and support for NIR/MIR systems. You install, repair, maintain, upgrade, diagnose, and relocate instrumentation while ensuring user training and smooth operation.

Responsibilities include system and network integration, remote center support if needed, and occasional in-house repairs with thorough service documentation. Frequent travel and overnight stays are required.

Qualifications

Can-do attitude
Solid knowledge with all modern PC and network standards
Self-responsible working and time management with flexibility
Willingness to travel several days per week
Degree in electronics/electric/mechatronic or comparable experiences
Solid technical knowledge in electronics, mechanics, ideally in optics
Proven track record in NIR- / MIR as well as remote diagnoses is a plus
Field Service experience
Fluent in German, solid English in speech and writing

Responsibilities

National on-site service & support for NIR- and MIR systems and other technologies
Installation, repair, maintenance, upgrades, diagnostics, relocation support
Process integration of analytical instruments
Network integration of analytical systems with software solutions
Familiarization of users with instruments and applications
Support the remote solution center if needed
Assist with in-house repairs on request
Prepare service documents when needed
Frequent travel and overnight stays are required
