Job summary

Bruker is seeking a Field-Service Engineer for the Nürnberg area to provide on-site service and support for NIR and MIR instruments. You will handle installation, maintenance, upgrades, and diagnostics, and coordinate with software solutions for network integration.

The role requires travel several days per week, a degree in electronics or related field, and fluent German with good English. Prior field service experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

Degree in electronics/electric/mechatronic or equivalent experience.
Solid knowledge in electronics, mechanics, and optics is a plus.
Experience in NIR/MIR systems and remote diagnostics is a plus.
Field service experience required.
Willingness to travel several days per week.

Responsibilities

On-site national service and support for NIR- and MIR systems and other technologies.
Installation, repair, maintenance, upgrades, system diagnoses, relocation support.
Process integration of analytical instruments.
Network integration of analytical systems with dedicated software solutions.
Familiarization of users with instruments and applications.
Support the remote solution center if needed.
On request: support of in-house repairs.
Support with service-relevant document generation.
Frequent travel and overnight stays are required.
