Qualifications

• BS in Biotech, Biology or Chemistry or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience diagnosing and repairing mass spectrometers.
• Experience troubleshooting HPLC and nanoLC required.
• Strong technical skills involving analytical instrumentation.
• Ability to work independently with strong customer focus in a travel-heavy Midwest role.

Responsibilities

• Familiarize and train customers for basic operation of the equipment.
• Perform remote support and diagnostic analysis to determine on-site maintenance needs.
• Organize and prioritize schedule for on-site visits and remote assistance.
• Re-qualify instruments after service and secure customer acceptance.
• Install new systems and perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Coordinate with Service Center, Regional Service Management and Applications Specialists.
