Job summary

Nikon SLM Solutions is seeking a field service engineer in Fort Lauderdale, FL to support metal additive manufacturing systems on-site. You will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, cooling and gas subsystems, install and start-up machines, and train customer personnel on level 1 use.

Travel may be required; strong CAD and electronics skills are essential to diagnose issues quickly and ensure peak equipment performance. This role offers a competitive benefits package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, Automation Technology or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for Nikon SLM Solutions installed machines (electrical, mechanical, cooling, gas systems).
• Collaborate with customers for installation and start-up.
• Teach/train customer personnel on level 1 system use and peripheral machines.
• Communicate installation/repair status regularly to customer and Service Manager.
