Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, service, and repair a diverse portfolio of medical technologies across the assigned territory. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and work with hospital staff to maximize equipment uptime.

Travel 50-75% within the region, build relationships with Clinical Engineering teams, and support service contract growth while delivering a high-quality customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Electronic/Electrical/Electro-Mechanical) or equivalent.
• Field service/maintenance experience in medical devices or healthcare.
• Experience troubleshooting electronic/electro-mechanical systems.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel 50–75% within territory.
• Experience using CMMS or service documentation tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of medical equipment within the assigned territory.
• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance visits to ensure performance and compliance.
• Build and maintain relationships with Clinical Engineering and EBME teams and other stakeholders.
• Achieve service performance objectives including customer satisfaction and metrics.
• Identify opportunities for service contract sales, renewals, and revenue growth.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and regulatory compliance.
