Job summary

Instron is seeking a highly motivated field service professional to travel within Wisconsin and Illinois, performing verification, preventative maintenance, repair and installation on a range of Instron products. You will operate with a company vehicle and tools, enjoying the support of a well-established service operation.

Regional travel up to 40% overnight may be required. A two- or four-year technical degree and knowledge of electro–mechanical systems are required, with autonomy,

Qualifications

• Two- or four-year technical degree from an accredited university.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Knowledge of electro–mechanical systems and Windows PCs.
• High level of autonomy with strong organizational and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to verify, perform maintenance, repair, and install Instron's products.
• Maintain regional responsibility for customers in Wisconsin and Illinois with up to 40% overnight travel.
• Work with a company vehicle and provided tools/equipment to complete service tasks.
