Job summary

Instron is seeking a Field Service Technician based in the Jacksonville, FL area. This role involves traveling to customer sites to perform maintenance, repair, and installation of Instron products. Candidates should possess a technical degree or equivalent experience and strong customer service skills.

The position requires a significant level of autonomy and entails traveling within Florida and Georgia, with up to 40% overnight travel. A company vehicle, tools, and equipment will be provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret technical information involving mechanics and electronics.
• High level of autonomy and superior time-management skills.
• Familiarity with PCs and Windows applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform verification, preventative maintenance, repair, and installation on Instron products.
• Travel to customer sites primarily in northern Florida to southeastern Georgia.
• Up to 40% overnight travel expected.
