Job summary
Instron is seeking a motivated field service professional to travel to customer sites across Wisconsin and Illinois, performing verification, maintenance, repair and installation of a wide range of Instron products. You will work from home, servicing customers in the Greater Chicago to Milwaukee area with occasional longer trips.
The role requires a 2- to 4-year technical degree or equivalent training, with a strong background in electro–mechanical systems, reading blueprints and wiring
Qualifications
- Two- to four-year technical degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent military/trade training.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and basic technical documentation.
- Strong organizational, time management and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Travel to customer sites to perform verification, preventative maintenance, repair and installation of Instron products.
- Work from home in the Greater Chicago area to Milwaukee, WI region with up to 40% overnight travel.
- Utilize provided tools, company vehicle and IT gear to support field service activities.
