Job summary

Instron is seeking a motivated field service professional to travel to customer sites across Wisconsin and Illinois, performing verification, maintenance, repair and installation of a wide range of Instron products. You will work from home, servicing customers in the Greater Chicago to Milwaukee area with occasional longer trips.

The role requires a 2- to 4-year technical degree or equivalent training, with a strong background in electro–mechanical systems, reading blueprints and wiring

Qualifications

Two- to four-year technical degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent military/trade training.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and basic technical documentation.
Strong organizational, time management and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Travel to customer sites to perform verification, preventative maintenance, repair and installation of Instron products.
Work from home in the Greater Chicago area to Milwaukee, WI region with up to 40% overnight travel.
Utilize provided tools, company vehicle and IT gear to support field service activities.
