Job summary

Beckman Coulter Life Sciences, a Danaher operating company, is hiring a Field Service Engineer to ensure customer satisfaction through preventive maintenance, timely upgrades, and first-time fixes. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years Field Service experience OR Associate’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, biological or life science, or a similar discipline, or equivalent military experience
• Experience using standard test equipment to troubleshoot and service instrumentation
• Excellent customer communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information and build strong relationships

Responsibilities

• Drive a sense of urgency to ensure customer needs are addressed promptly and with an emphasis on a “first time fix”
• To manage a customer account in its entirety, and when accessing an account, determine on where we can add more value by offering other services (i.e. reagents, consumables, additional or new equipment leads, service on non‑agreement instruments, etc.).
• Opportunity to build and grow strong customer relationships while directly contributing to both individual and district revenue success. And play a key part in driving annual revenue targets, supporting field service maintenance agreement growth through monthly recurring billing, and partnering with Sales via lead generation initiatives. Achieve visibility and accountability, with an expected year‑over‑year growth target of 8–10%.
