HP in New Jersey is seeking a Field Service Technician specializing in Large Format Printers. You will be the face of HP at customer sites, performing on-site service, diagnostics, and repairs while traveling from your home base.

The role requires 6–8 years of field service or printer repair experience, strong mechanical/electrical skills, and the ability to work independently. It includes travel up to 75%, a comprehensive benefits package, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical, electrical, and electronic troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of inkjet printing technology and color management.
• Solid computer/networking skills.

Responsibilities

• Install & Configure large-format printers, including hardware, software, and network components.
• Maintain & Repair printers with preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and software issues.
• Customer Training on proper usage, color management, and best practices.
• Project Execution following installation and escalation plans to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Proactive Support using monitoring tools to identify and prevent issues.
• Customer Engagement with clear updates and issue resolution to maintain satisfaction.
