Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Field Service Engineer in Los Angeles, CA to perform installation, repair, preventative maintenance, and IQ/OQ/PQ services on multi-vendor analytical instruments at customer locations or in-house.

The role requires travel (local/regional) with 25% overnight travel; candidates should have 2+ years of field service experience, strong knowledge of GC, HPLC/UPLC, GC/MS and LC/MS, and a science degree or equivalent lab experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of field service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of GC, HPLC/UPLC, GC/MS & LC/MS required.
• Bachelor’s degree in science preferred or HS diploma with lab experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, repair, maintenance, and IQ/OQ/PQ on analytical instruments at customer sites or in-house.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot multi-vendor lab equipment such as GC, GC/MS, LC/MS, ICPMS, HPLC/UPLC.
• Document maintenance and calibration activities and report results.
