Job summary

Lynn Rodens is seeking a hands-on field service professional to support advanced analytical instrumentation across your territory in California. You will travel to customer sites to install, calibrate, and service Gas Chromatography (GC) and elemental analyzers, performing preventive maintenance and remote troubleshooting when needed.

You will document service activities, manage parts inventory, and collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues quickly while delivering exceptional customer

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing Gas Chromatography (GC) systems is required.
  • Experience servicing analytical laboratory instrumentation, including elemental analyzers, is highly preferred.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in the field.
  • Comfortable traveling 80–90% throughout the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will travel to customer sites to install, commission, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and validate Gas Chromatography (GC) and elemental analysis instruments. You'll perform preventive maintenance, diagnose technical issues, provide remote support when needed, manage service documentation and parts inventory, and collaborate with internal technical teams to ensure timely resolutions. You'll also have the opportunity to identify additional customer needs and contribute to business growth while delivering an outstanding service experience.
