Job summary

TRG in United States is seeking a Service Engineer responsible for installation, commissioning, startup support, maintenance and repair of company products at customer sites. The role involves significant customer interaction and collaboration with mechanical engineers to improve machine design.

You will perform preventative and emergency service, provide training, create service reports, and travel domestically and internationally as required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in equipment maintenance/service/repair.
• 2+ years in mechanical design of structures and mechanisms.
• Ability to read mechanical, electrical and pneumatic drawings.
• Ability to read and understand PLC software (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi).
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Customer-facing with professional demeanor.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds and climb/stoop/kneel as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimum operation and minimize downtime.
• Provide technical support and customer training.
• Perform emergency service at customer locations to ensure full functionality.
• Provide on-call technical phone support and respond to equipment issues.
• Provide required service documentation and reports.
• Support and train other Service Engineers in the department.
• Gather information at customer sites to generate new technologies or solutions.
• Promote the company and its products, processes and values.
• Provide feedback to mechanical engineers on design improvements.
