Job summary
lapmasterwolters is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, commission, troubleshoot, and service critical equipment at customer sites across North America. You will interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and control diagrams, calibrate systems, validate performance, and train customer personnel on operation and safety.

Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical cert required in Mechanical/Electrical fields.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred.
- Minimum 3 years in equipment installation, maintenance or field service.
- Experience with automation, robotics, motion control is a plus.
- Strong reading of mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
Responsibilities
- Lead installation, commissioning, startup and validation at customer sites.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and controls issues.
- Perform preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance for uptime.
- Build strong customer relationships and act as technical advisor.
- Promote safety and regulatory compliance in all field activities.
- Pursue continuous improvement and support special projects.
