Job summary

Lapmaster Wolters seeks a Field Service Engineer to install, commission, calibrate, and validate equipment at customer sites, interpret drawings, and train customer personnel on operation and safety.

You will diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control issues, perform preventive maintenance, and coordinate with customers and internal teams, while travel up to 75% across North America and beyond.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in a relevant field is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of field service, installation, maintenance, or automation experience.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% and work at customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation, commissioning, startup, and validation of equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controls issues.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to maximize uptime.
• Train customer personnel on operation, maintenance, and safety.
• Coordinate with customers and internal teams to minimize disruption.
