Job summary

SCREEN SPE USA, LLC in Austin is seeking a Field Service Engineer to perform service support on FC-3100 and SU-3200 toolsets, with potential 200mm support. The role is based in the Austin area with regional travel.

Salary range: $36.00 - $50.00 per hour. Responsibilities include safety-system engagement, log checks, maintenance and data research for parts and tool upgrades, plus customer relations and on-site training with MTs as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or equivalent with field experience, or military technical training.
• Experience in maintenance, troubleshooting and tool support.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Job Summary:

Primary responsibilities will be to perform Service Support on FC-3100 and SU-3200 toolsets. Some 200mm support may be required. Position will be based out of Austin area. Other regional and support may be required from time-to-time. Salary Range: $36.00 - $50.00

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Daily activities include engaging in all SCREEN safety systems (SMBWA, Good Catch, Safety Stand-down, etc.), log checks, process history analysis, alarm check, in-fab and remote tool support, customer relations and support, data entry for tracking spreadsheets and tool manual information research for parts and tool upgrades.
• The Field Service Engineer will be performing in-depth maintenance activities both preventive and as-needed repairs for failed components. FSE will work alongside customer MT’s and provide training and support as needed.

Job Requirements:

FSE should have a Basic understanding of the following:

• Electro/Pneumatic high precision troubleshooting and repairs (air/liquid/mechanical/electrical/robot systems).
• Electrical and Fluid diagram familiarity.
• Wet Cleaning/Etching experience .
• Chemical handling familiarly (protective equipment and hazards).
• Metric hand tool familiarity (use of specialized tools and fixtures). Able to perform basic tool body and associated support hardware installation, facilitation, set up and teaching up to and including process acceptance.
• Patience and caution for critical activities such as robot teaching, wafer running and
  nozzle teaching.
• A positive Can-Do outlook and demeanor with customer and fellow engineers; must be willing to learn additional tool sets.
• A strong Safety-First attitude in all aspects of working with SCREEN.
• Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity and ability to lift/carry objects up to 35 pounds.
• Familiarity with Personal Protection equipment and proper industry safety procedures when working with one or more dangerous element or conditions such as chemicals, electric currents or high voltage, moving mechanical parts, radiation, etc.
• Basic computer skills (Windows, Microsoft Office and SharePoint).
• Must be willing to travel for training and additional domestic or international support if needed.
• Must have a valid passport and REAL ID for immediate travel.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree; or
• Associate's Degree with a minimum of 4 years of related experience; or
• 8 years of related experience in lieu of degree; completion of military technical training and field experience may substitute for an Associate's Degree.
