Job summary

Honeywell Technologies is seeking a Field Service Engineer II - Turbo Machinery in the United States. You will provide field and factory technical support for centrifugal pumps and compressors, focusing on controls, instrumentation, PLC systems, and rotating equipment troubleshooting.

Travel up to 50% domestically and internationally. As part of a global team, you will lead installation, commissioning, and startup activities at customer sites, generate reports, and train customers and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in mechanical/electrical engineering or related field.
• 7+ years field service experience with rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines).
• Hands-on field service experience in industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform field service with 100% safety compliance.
• Provide technical support for centrifugal pumps and compressors (API and non-API).
• Lead installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup at customer sites (3–5 projects/month).
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, process, and control system issues.
• Utilize PLC/control logic to diagnose and optimize equipment performance.
• Lead RCFA investigations (2–4 per quarter).
• Create and manage service cases in CRM systems.
• Train customers and partners (quarterly or scheduled sessions).
• Oversee on-site work to ensure OEM/API compliance (100%).
• Generate technical reports and warranty evaluations within 48–72 hours of site activity.
