Job summary

Honeywell International Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer II - Turbo Machinery to provide field and factory technical support for centrifugal pumps and compressors, focusing on controls, instrumentation, PLC systems, and rotating equipment troubleshooting.

You will lead installation, commissioning, and startup activities at customer sites worldwide. Up to 50% travel domestically and internationally is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Associate degree with 7+ years of field service experience or High School Diploma with 10+ years rotating equipment field service experience.
• 3+ years hands-on field service experience with rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines)
• 3+ years troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, or process control systems in industrial environments
• 2+ years working knowledge of PLC systems and control logic troubleshooting
• 2+ years experience with P&IDs, process control systems, and industrial instrumentation
• Ability to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally
• Strong customer-facing experience in field service or technical support roles
• Ability to manage field assignments and deliver technical reports on time

Responsibilities

• Perform field service activities with 100% safety compliance
• Provide technical support for centrifugal pumps and compressors, including API and non-API equipment
• Lead installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup at customer sites (3–5 projects/month)
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, process, and control system failures
• Utilize PLC and control system logic to optimize equipment performance
• Lead RCFA investigations (2–4 per quarter)
• Create and manage service cases in CRM systems
• Train customers/channel partners through quarterly or scheduled sessions
• Ensure OEM/API compliance on-site (100% adherence)
