Job summary

Segra is seeking a qualified Field Service Engineer for Morgantown/Clarksburg/Fairmont WV to join our full-time team. You will oversee day-to-day network activities including installation, commissioning, testing, and maintenance of transport and IP/Data networks.

The role requires on-call duties and close collaboration with customers, service technicians, and engineering teams. Prior telecom equipment experience and an Associate degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of telecom equipment such as Cisco, Ciena, etc.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with telecom equipment.
• Associate degree or technical field preferred; and/or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Install & commission equipment and turn-up networks.
• Test circuits, perform troubleshooting on transport and IP/Data networks.
• Handle on-call duties and interact with customers and field techs.
