Job summary

Segra is seeking a qualified Field Service Engineer (Parkersburg WV) for a full-time role. You will oversee daily network activities including equipment installation, commissioning, circuit/node turn-up and testing, and management of customer premise equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, and ONTs.

The position requires five days in the office and involves on-call duties, interacting with customers and telecom professionals.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Telecom equipment (e.g., Cisco, Ciena)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with Telecom equipment
• Associate's degree or technical field preferred, and/or a combination of job-related experience.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission equipment at customer sites
• Turn-up and testing of circuits/nodes and IP/Data networks
• Manage customer premise equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, ONTs, IADs, hosted phones)
• Perform on-call duties as required and coordinate with customers and field teams
